Students from Ebbsfleet Academy and North Kent College visit the site of the new city with artist Laurence Harding
In March we visited the site of the Alkeden development in Ebbsfleet with students from Ebbsfleet Academy and North Kent College. The visits were made possible thanks to the support from the developers Henley Camland and we also met with their landscape architects Alex Agnew and Joe Gerrard from Define.
Both groups took photos of the site whilst North Kent College students also collected plants and objects to use in their workshop with artist Laurence Harding. Laurence showed them how to make cyanotypes, a traditional technique using sunlight and water to develop photos.
