Students from North Kent College respond to Ebbsfleet with a large-scale installation at Ebbsfleet International Station
Students from the Creative Studios at North Kent College were invited to respond to Ebbsfleet, and the broader landscape of North Kent it sits within.
They each submitted their design ideas for the bridge adjacent to Ebbsfleet International Station, and three students were selected to realise their idea – Naomi Ajie, Cassie Smith, and Lilia Brookes.
Working with artist Christopher Tipping, the students developed their designs, learning how to scale their work for installation in public space, as well as use research and design tools, and assisted artists Joe & Charlotte, who hand painted the works onto the bridge.
