Join us in Ebbsfleet on Saturday 7 May for the community screening launch of This place is a message, a new film by artists Webb-Ellis.
In a disused chalk quarry near Gravesend in the summer of 2021, Webb-Ellis collaborated with young people from the local area to co-create an imaginary world and alternative environment for learning.
Using methods of philosophical enquiry, radical listening, dance, drawing and singing, the artists and young people worked together to weave a fractured narrative which became the basis for This place is a message.
Alongside the screening you can also take part in workshops with artists Lu Williams and Katrin Albrecht, see works created during our recent workshops with students in Ebbsfleet, and find out more about our programme for young people which is exploring and shaping Ebbsfleet as it is built.
The event takes place between 4–6:30 at Castle Hill Community Centre, Ebbsfleet Valley DA10 1ET.
